of having Lasik Surgery. |
When laser eye surgery first came into the market in 1991, I was
very apprehensive about the side effect and the experience of some
surgeons doing laser surgery on my clients. I've been in the optical
industry for over 28 years and I have seen a lot of changes in the
industry over that time. Like all concepts that come into the market,
it takes time for it to develop and perfect.
Even though I'm not totally sold on laser surgery as a whole, I have
seen very positive results from my own clients who have been
satisfied with the results. We are now starting to offer laser eye
surgery consultations at Visions of Canada. The consultations are
done by Dr. Justin Chan, an independent optometrist, who has an
office next door to us. Laser eye surgery is a major decision and
if you feel this is right for you, I would ask you contact us at
Visions of Canada to schedule a consultation exam.
We can also provide you with additional information regarding thin eyeglass
lenses and high oxygen contact lenses upon request. For your convenience
in one visit to Visions of Canada you can see a demonstration on the thinnest
eyeglass lenses in the world or you can get a trial fitting for the highest
oxygen permeable contact lenses available, as well as, obtain all your
information about laser eye surgery.
As for the clinics that our patients will be referred to for laser surgery,
we believe that you will be satisfied with the results of these fine physicians:
Dr. Tayfour of Windsor Laser Eye Institute;
Dr. Grosinger & Dr. Spigelman of Interactive Ophthalmology Center.
